Will You Be Found Trustworthy?

Will we be taken to heaven as we are? Or will we need to be changed? If so, how will we be changed? Will our characters be changed? Will the Creator of the Universe just instantly zap a change in us? No! In a twinkling of an eye [our bodies] will be changed from perishable to imperishable [1 Cor. 15:51], but verse 50 says, ‘flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Elohim; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.’ He will, in a twinkling of an eye, change our mortal bodies to immortal. But what of our characters? ‘But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;’ [1 Peter 1:15] So we must be changed, become trustworthy, if we are to be in the New Kingdom. But how?

[*The original names and/or titles have been restored. Ps. 68:4 tells us the true name of our Heavenly Father. And His Son was born a Jew in a Jewish community. Does it make sense that He would have a Greek [which they hated] name? No! Yahweh is our Ever Existing Heavenly Father. Yahu is His Only-begotten Son, our Righteous Redeemer, who came in His Father’s name, Yahu-shua = Yahu Saves. In the World Book Encyclopedia we are told that " ‘the LORD’ means Baal." The word ‘God’, like the other titles or names most often used in Christianity is pagan in origin and brought into Christianity by the Papacy, beast of Rev. 13. Elohim (Mighty Ones, see Gen. 1:26) is put back where the false title ‘God’ is used. In respect of the Most High, the true names, as close as is known today, will replace the false. In Ex. 23:13 we are told not to even mention the name of other mighty ones. And we are told to come out of false doctrine and practices, Rev. 18:4]

Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; and being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him; [Hebrews 5:7-9] Yahweh’s Only-Begotton-Son FEARED [took His Father seriously] and although He was the Son of the Most High He, even He, learned perfect obedience, through the trials He went through, and was made perfect. And as we follow His example, and are obedient to Him, we become changed unto salvation.

He [Yahushua] is the ‘author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.’ What did He author? The Ten Commands given to Moses. And all of His perfect instructions given in the other statutes and judgements, [the Torah]. By studying these instructions we come to understand His way of thinking. As a young couple will correspond through love letters, expressing their most inner thoughts to each other and so become one in thought and purpose, so it is with His ‘love letters’ [His Torah] to His children.

When we learn of His perfect ways we admire what we behold and begin to be more like Him. And by the power of His Set-apart Spirit we become changed inwardly. If we reject His laws [Torah], the very transcript of His character, we are in effect rejecting Him. When He comes in all His glory He will not change our characters, only the bodies of those with incorruptible characters. The characters will have already been changed. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [Rev. 22:11]

In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law. {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10}

The closing words of Malachi are a prophecy regarding the work that should be done preparatory to the first and the Second Advent of Christ. This prophecy is introduced with the admonition, "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. {SW, March 21, 1905 par. 1}

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of *Yahweh; and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." [Mal. 4:5]

In what way will Elijah the prophet turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the children to their fathers? We believe ‘the fathers’ in this text refers to the ‘church fathers’, the prophets and patriarchs, which as witnesses, turn us to His word, the Torah.

Remember what the Apostle Paul said in Acts 20:28-29? Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the congregation of Elohim, which he hath purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

In 2 Thess. 2:7-21 we are told why grievous wolves are allowed in. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom Yahushua shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause Elohim shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

*Yahushua is about to leave the mercy seat of the heavenly sanctuary, to put on garments of vengeance, and pour out His wrath in judgments upon those who have not responded to the light *Elohim has given them. "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." Ecclesiastes 8:11. Instead of being softened by the patience and long forbearance that *Yahweh has exercised toward them, those who fear not *Elohim and love not the truth, strengthen their hearts in their evil course. But there are limits even to the forbearance of *Elohim, and many are exceeding these boundaries. They have overrun the limits of grace, and therefore *Elohim must interfere and vindicate His honor. {CET 185.3}

Will you be ready for His return, my friend? Will you ‘Fear [take seriously] Elohim, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters? [Rev. 14:7] Do you desire to receive His seal and not the mark of the beast? Then study His Torah [teachings], the love letters He gave us that are a ‘blueprint of His character, thus His will for us…for you and me.

Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? [Ezekiel 18:31] Say unto them, As I live, saith Yahweh Elohim, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? [Ezekiel 33:11]
