Prophetic Warnings

Feb. 15, 1904: "When I was last in New York, I was in the night season called upon to behold buildings rising story after story toward heaven. These buildings were warranted to be fireproof, and they were erected to glorify the owners. Higher and still higher these buildings rose, and in them the most costly material was used. . . . [May the reader note that when this was written the tallest building was no higher than the length of fire hose held by firemen on their ladders.]

"As these lofty buildings went up, the owners rejoiced with ambitious pride that they had money to use in glorifying self. . . . Much of the money that they thus invested had been obtained through exaction, through grinding the faces of the poor. In the books of heaven, an account of every business transaction is kept. There every unjust deal, every fraudulent act, is recorded. The time is coming when in their fraud and insolence men will reach a point that *Yahweh [*True name restored by this author] will not permit them to pass, and they will learn that there is a limit to the forbearance of *Yahweh.

"The scene that next passed before me was an alarm of fire. Men looked at lofty and supposedly fireproof buildings, and said, 'They are perfectly safe.' But these buildings were consumed as if made of pitch. The firemen were unable to operate the engines.

"I am instructed that when Yahweh's time comes, should no change have taken place in the hearts of proud, ambitious human beings, men will find that the hand that has been strong to save will be strong to destroy. No earthly power can stay the hand of *Elohim. No material can be used in the erection of buildings that will preserve them from destruction when *Elohim's appointed time comes to send retribution on men for their insolence and their disregard of His law." [QUOTED IN REVIEW AND HERALD, APRIL 26, 1906.]

June 3, 1903: "There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving. The time of *Elohim's destructive judgments is the time of mercy for those who have no opportunity to learn what is truth. Tenderly will *Yahweh look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save." {LS 412-413}

The above quotations were taken from the writings of Ellen White over one hundred years ago. Soon after the "Twin Towers" incident these quotations were brought to notice. The event of 9\11 was catastrophic. The number eleven is recognized as the Biblical number representative of judgment. Let's take a closer look at the event and compare these quotations: The Twin Towers were built, using the meager incomes and hard labor of the poor, by the rich while extracting the most revenue from the investments of the middle class trying in vain to get rich from the stock market. "the owners rejoiced with ambitious pride that they had money to use in glorifying self. . . . Much of the money that they thus invested had been obtained through exaction, through grinding the faces of the poor." The two buildings stood as landmarks against the evening sky. "called upon to behold buildings rising story after story toward heaven." The construction of these buildings was guaranteed safe enough to house over one million people in any given day. "These buildings were warranted to be fireproof, and they were erected to glorify the owners." When the first plane struck many within the building were unaware of the event. "The scene that next passed before me was an alarm of fire." "Men looked at lofty and supposedly fireproof buildings, and said, 'They are perfectly safe."and the announcement was made that everyone should go back to their work stations. "But these buildings were consumed as if made of pitch." It wasn't long after the second plane hit before the first building imploded into a pile of rubble. One whole crew of firemen miraculously walked out alive. And watched in horror as."The fire engines could do nothing to stay the destruction."

2. The date of the attack on the World Trade Center was 9/11. 9+1+1=11

3. September ii is the 254^th day of the year. 2+5+4=11

4. The first airplane to hit the building was flight #11

5. Flight #11 miraculously only had 92 people on board. 9+2=11

6. Flight #77 is a multiple of 11.

7. Flight #77 had 65 people on board. 6+5=11

8. 119 is the area code for Iraq and Iran. 1+!+9=11

9. New York was the 11 state to join the union of states.

10. New York City has 11 letters in its name.

11. Afghanistan has 11 letters in its name.

12. The Pentagon has 11 letters in its name.

13. The Twin Towers formed the number 11 against the skyline.

Was it all a coincident.or a final warning?

Nov. 12, 1902: "The time is nearing when the great crisis in the history of the world will have come, when every movement in the government of *Elohim will be watched with intense interest and inexpressible apprehension. In quick succession the judgments of *Elohim will follow one another,--fire and flood and earthquakes, with war and bloodshed. Something great and decisive will soon of necessity take place."

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:

but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

"Say unto them, As I live, saith *Yahweh Elohim, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked;

but that the wicked turn from his way and live:

turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die.?

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of *Elohim."

"He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments,

is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Ellen wrote, "I am so grateful that in this degenerate age we are not left in darkness to pick our way along amid the many voices that are heard to divert us from the path of holiness. We want to hear the one voice that says, "This is the way, walk ye in it." Christ says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Then we inquire, Have we placed ourselves on the side of the Prince of Life? Have we placed ourselves under the banner of Prince Emmanuel? Have we, like Daniel, purposed in our hearts to be obedient to all of *Elohim's requirements? It is of the greatest consequence to us that we be found obedient children, walking in the truth. We do not want to be on the side of the great rebel who transgressed *Elohim's commandments and was thrust out of Heaven, and is teaching others to be disloyal to the *Elohim of Heaven. If we are not obedient to *Elohim in this life, keeping His commandments, how can we expect to have a right to eternal life? *Elohim will not take into His kingdom and give eternal life to those who will not come under His laws and statutes in this life.

We are in this world as probationers; we are here to obtain a fitness for the future immortal life, and should we devote the precious golden moments that are now granted us, these precious moments of probation, in finding our own pleasure, in doing our own ways, and seeking our own gratification, we should fail to secure a fitness for immortal life. If we lose Heaven we lose everything, and it would be better for us if we had never been born. But if we gain the precious Heaven of bliss we gain everything, and we may bless the day in which we were born. If we would dwell with the precious Saviour in the kingdom which he has gone to prepare for those that love him, we must seek to be like him here; we must bring him into our life and weave him into our character, and he will be unto us everything that our hearts can desire." {ST, September 8, 1887}

"Because thou hast kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,

which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

"For *Elohim so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,

so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish, but possess everlasting life."

"The Father loves the Son, and has given all into His hand. He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life:

but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him."

I am so grateful that in this degenerate age we are not left in darkness to pick our way along amid the many voices that are heard to divert us from the path of holiness.
